Robert Pires has maintained his outlook for Nicolas Pepe. He insisted that Arsenal forward Robert Pires is a good player. He urged the supporters of the club to support the forward player who is getting a difficult start in the season.

Arsenal has surpassed many top clubs to sign Pepe in August along with Ivorian become their all-time record sign in the process. He joined the club in a deal of £72m from Lille. Feyenoord supporter helps his team earn two more points

We have seen the home crowd doing funny things to distract the opposition, but what one of the Feyenoord spectators did during the previous home game against PSV Eindhoven was a first of its kind.

PSV has been in top form in the Dutch top tier this season and ahead of their trip to Feyenoord, they had won 13 games on the trot in the league. However their start at Feyenoord was not very impressive as they were reduced to 0-2 in the first half of the game itself, but later they bounced back with their first goal in the 72^nd minute and just a few moments after that, they got themselves into the position of scoring the equalizer as well.

Javier Hernandez pays tribute to Juan Carlos Osorio

Mexico international Javier Hernandez has paid tribute to Juan Carlos Osorio shortly after it was confirmed that he has stepped down from the managerial role with El Tri. The 57-year-old had been with the national team for the past three years where he produced a number of impressive results including a shock win over Germany at the World Cup. Despite this, Osorio snubbed the prospect of a contract extension with El Tri and he has now decided to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.

Amidst this, Hernandez has taken his time to praise Osorio via his Instagram account and believes the Mexican was one of the best managers he has worked under during the course of a nine-year international career, he penned: “Thank you for these three years, profe. Thanks for so much. There are mixed feelings. The thankfulness is what sticks out the most because our paths crossed.

GUARDIOLA TO OVERCOME CITY’S SECOND SEASON CURSE

Man City title winning run broke the record for most goals at 106; they also conceded the least at 27 goals. The Cityzens had over 100 points, which was the first time in the Premier League that any side would accumulate a century of points. Man City now holds the record of most consecutive wins, away wins and points gap.

Robin van Persie’s return to Netherlands was a forgettable one

Robin van Persie had not played in the international stage in 2 years and it wasn’t until a few days ago when the former Arsenal star managed to make his return to the Netherlands squad.

On August 31 of 2017, Robin van Persieperformed for Netherlands as they locked horns against France for a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match which resulted with France coming out on top with a 4-0 triumph.

Netherlands are struggling to qualify for the upcoming worldwide football competition as they have collected 13 points from 8 qualifying games and with only 2 more matches left, the team of Dick Advocaat will need to secure positive results in their final games against Belarus and Sweden which are going to be played on October 7 and 10 respectively.

The 34 year old Dutch attacker of Fenerbahce, Robin van Persie wanted to help his national side in their attempts to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup but it’s believed that he sustained a career ending injury.

According to reports and rumors, the veteran forward sustained a cruciate knee ligament which could leave him out of the playing field for 1 year and considering his elevated age, it might be the end of his professional career. (more…)

VAN PERSIE GOES INTO PREPARATION FOR NEW SEASON

Former Manchester United player, Robin Van Persie has gone into preparations for the upcoming season.

The striker who is known for his explosive shots from either of his foot recently posted a video of himself on the popular social media application, Instagram where he was in a boxing ring, working out.

The video bore the caption “Getting ready for the new season” and showed hi, putting his paces through on the pads.

The Dutch striker seemed quite good with his hands and would surely be hoping for the best season wherever he finds himself.

The current Fenerbahce man has no mote that a year left on his contract with the club and has already been linked with a move to a foreign club in Turkey.

One of the clubs interested in him is said to be Feyenoord, the same very club where he began his footballing career.

The 33 year old who recently spoke about his future noted that he was quite unsure of his career as to where he would be plying his trade at the expiration of his contract. (more…)

Manchester United has reached the finals of the Europa League

With an aggregate score of 2-1, Manchester United has edged out a victory over Celta de Vigo and the English Premier League club will be facing off with Ajax in the finals which will be played on May 24.

This is the 1^st time that Manchester United has advanced into the finals of the European competition since it kicked off which was back in1971.

Manchester United has generally been able to compete and qualify for the UEFA Champions League on a consistent basis but recent struggles has seen them being dropped to the Europa League and if they are able to defeat Ajax in the finals on May 24, then Jose Mourinho and his squad will earn a qualification spot for the upcoming Champions League season.

Jose Mourinho is not very pleased about the date of the finals as Manchester United still has 3 more Premier League matches left to be played while Ajax on the other hand only has 1 match. (more…)
