The former star of Manchester United and Arsenal, named Robin Van Persie, on 19th January, proved that he still has it in him with a brilliant goal by free-kick while he was in action for the club of Feyenoord during a clash versus PEC Zwolle. The player who is 35 years old rolled back past experience with an excellent free-kick in only the 35th minute in order to restore the parity for his club of boyhood.
The club of Feyenoord found their team 1 goal behind in a very closely contested battle before Robert curled the football to the net’s back. The star of Dutch swept his foot in order to lift the football over the wall properly set up by the players of Zwolle in order to place the ball very far in the corner past a totally helpless Mickey who was completely between the sticks. The spiraled kick left all the fans completely stunned as they took it to social media in order to lionize the legend of Premier League.
We have seen the home crowd doing funny things to distract the opposition, but what one of the Feyenoord spectators did during the previous home game against PSV Eindhoven was a first of its kind.
PSV has been in top form in the Dutch top tier this season and ahead of their trip to Feyenoord, they had won 13 games on the trot in the league. However their start at Feyenoord was not very impressive as they were reduced to 0-2 in the first half of the game itself, but later they bounced back with their first goal in the 72nd
minute and just a few moments after that, they got themselves into the position of scoring the equalizer as well.
Mexico international Javier Hernandez has paid tribute to Juan Carlos Osorio shortly after it was confirmed that he has stepped down from the managerial role with El Tri. The 57-year-old had been with the national team for the past three years where he produced a number of impressive results including a shock win over Germany at the World Cup. Despite this, Osorio snubbed the prospect of a contract extension with El Tri and he has now decided to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Amidst this, Hernandez has taken his time to praise Osorio via his Instagram account and believes the Mexican was one of the best managers he has worked under during the course of a nine-year international career, he penned: “Thank you for these three years, profe. Thanks for so much. There are mixed feelings. The thankfulness is what sticks out the most because our paths crossed.
Pep Guardiola would hopefully be the man to help Manchester City overcome a second season curse after an almost perfect last term. The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich man helped the club break several league records last season.
Man City title winning run broke the record for most goals at 106; they also conceded the least at 27 goals. The Cityzens had over 100 points, which was the first time in the Premier League that any side would accumulate a century of points. Man City now holds the record of most consecutive wins, away wins and points gap.

The tempers have been flying high between the supporters of Fenerbahce and Besiktas since the derby match of the two teams yesterday.
It was probably the most controversial game this season in Turkey and the entire controversy revolved around one player only which was RVP, the former Netherlands skipper.
He was the one who first displayed his outstanding acting skills to cook up a foul and make the referee issue an exit command to Dusko Tosic decreasing Besiktas by one player on the pitch.
And then shortly, the striker got indulged into an altercation with Oguzhan Ozyakup who incidentally happened to be someone he had played alongside for the Gunners and had a good equation before this.
RVP had the last laugh though after everything as he ended up delivering the only successful strike of the match and then the way he celebrated irked many of the Besiktas supporters because he went right into the face of Ozyakup who had taunted him earlier. (more…)

Van Persie netted 58 goals for United in three seasons and won the Premier League title in his first season – and sole year under Ferguson – at the club.
The left-shooter went on to play under the former Manchester United coaches, David Moyes and Louis van Gaal before being sold out and he thinks the situation could have been different if Ferguson did not retire from managing in 2013.
“We will never know,” he said to the reporters when asked what would have happened had Ferguson stayed. “It could have been that I could have been a player for Manchester United today. (more…)
